The aim of our Patient Participation Group is to act as a ‘voice for patients’ ensuring that the practice is responsive to patient needs and problems whilst working together to improve patient service.
Moving forward we would like to relaunch our Patient Participation Group, reaching out to patient’s as well as our wider community here in Fleetwood. We will be arranging monthly drop in sessions along side our colleague’s from the PCN to give our PPG member’s the chance to voice there needs, concerns and views regarding our practice.
We would like to invite new and current members to join Emma, our PPG practice representative at our drop in sessions (date, time and location to be arranged). If you would like to be part of our PPG please speak to a member of the reception team or email: FWCCG.BroadwayPPG@nhs.net and leave your name and contact details. We are always looking at ways to improve our Practice and would greatly benefit from your help!
The group:
- Ensures real, open communication between patients and the practice
- Discusses patients’ needs during the development of practice systems
- Supports the practice to achieve its health promotion targets
- Reviews and, where appropriate, provides advice and recommendations on the practice patient survey
- Ensures the needs and interests of all patient groups are considered, including those with specific conditions, those with a disability, ethnic minorities and migrant workers
- Helps the PPG Staff Team with fundraising events
With the help of your views and opinions, we are trying to better and improve the service we provide to best suit your needs.
